In early 2024, Grand Caverns will debut an all-new, exclusive concert series deep within the cave, called Subterranean Sound. Starting February 3rd, a new band will perform each Saturday evening before the concert series concludes on March 23rd(8 bands, 13 concerts). With only 75 tickets available for each performance, his is a rare opportunity to enjoy local beer/wine and a live show within a truly unique venue!!

Immerse yourself in the heart of Grand Caverns for adown-to-earth concert experience. The pre-show cocktail hour, featuring local beers and wines, kicks off at 6:00 pm, setting the tone for an evening of roots music. The show, featuring two 45-minute sets with an intermission, delves into the raw essence of storytelling and songwriting. In between sets grab a drink, check out exclusive merch, and catch the band hanging out during the break. The concert concludes by 9:30 pm, leaving you with an authentic, intimate connection to the artists and the rustic, natural vibe of Grand Caverns. It's roots music at its core, deep within the earth.

Strong Water is an Americana Folk group born in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. They've been making music inspired by the valley's picturesque landscapes in Harrisonburg, VA since 2014. Strong Water has a unique blend of 2010s folk reminiscent of The Lumineers and Mumford and Sons, fused with the raw energy of late '90s rock like Rage Against the Machine or Audioslave. With heartfelt lyrics, half-time breakdowns, gnarly upright bass grooves, and piercing fiddle solos, Strong Water crafts a sound that is both timeless and of the moment.
